It is very interesting to see that one of the two winning projects of the Your Country, Your Call competition (www.yourcountryyourcall.ie) - Cianán Clancy's the Data Island Strategy - is all about data analytics and making Ireland a centre of excellence. This is already starting to happen with many large companies locating their data analytics centres here, and the competition win is a great boost for the profile of data analytics in Ireland.
